VACUUM
MOULDED |
|
Process
Description:
Vacuum forming
can be used for many thicknesses of
plastic sheet and can provide great
strength in its finished mouldings.
Simple technique and high production
rate make this an economical
thermoforming process, which enables
us to run small quantities and
samples.
Examples of plastics that can be
used in vacuum forming include:
acrylic, low-density polyethylene (LDPE),
high-density polyethylene (HDPE),
polypropylene (PP) and crystalline
polyester (CPET).
All products can be completed using
a wide range of hinges, handles,
labels, locking mechanisms and all
in a material and colour to suit
your requirements. |

All of the
above can add to a significant cost
reduction over traditional forming
methods of thermoset and thermoplastic
composites whilst maintaining their
elevated properties.
